AFC Stadium merged with SROB in the 08 / 09 season
Team History: 02/03 AFC Stadium, originally formed as AFC Manor in the 2002 / 2003 season in division 5 from a large group of school friends (Many who still remain). A rather poor season found themselves finishing up near the bottom. Manor found themselves going through 4 managers throughout the season and was close to folding by the end of it 03/04 Name change to AFC Stadium in 2003/2004 season and with 5 new players brought in from a folded team a super tight bond was formed and fixed up the holes we previously had. A excellent season was had with Tim Fry taking management for the season. Stadium won the Division 4 Title and also took home the Gentry Bowl Cup with a 3-0 win over Harbour View Reserves. Stadium only lose one league game all season. Stadium also receive Team of the month for February and the Jerry Tobias award trophy 04/05 Stadium move into the 3rd Division and have a rather poor start. With some bad results and the pressure mounting on Tim Fry who was under the strain from other tasks he handed over the reigns to current Manager Steve Horscroft and assistant Ben Brown. Since their takeover Stadium have been on excellent form with the results to show - 16 games unbeaten with 15 wins & 1 draw. 83 goals scored. Conceded 20, a 10-1 result with a few 9 Nil’s have been much enjoyed. Stadium won the Gentry Bowl cup for the second year running winning 5-4 on penalties after a nail biting 4-4 draw after extra time against Brighton League side Blue House at Whitehawk County ground. The following week they went on to win 3-1 against a Worthing side in the Brighton Charity Sheild Cup Final. Unfortunatley the season didn't finish as good as the cups and ended up 4th. 05/06 Stadium start there campaign Promoted to the 2nd division. Finish the Division 3rd 06/07 Stadium once again find themselves promoted to Division 1. Finish 4th and win the John Whittington Jubilee Cup 07/08 Stadium remain in Division 1. Finish 2nd place. Merger at the end of season with Southern Rangers Old Boys
